Scholten Productions has been contracted to perform the capture service selected below on August 22, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Exposure Agreement and Details

The Client grants Scholten Productions the right to use the created wedding video for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the company's website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.

If the Client prefers their wedding video not be shared publicly, they may request a Non-Exposure Add-On at the time of booking. This add-on carries an additional fee of $500, compensating for the loss of promotional value.

Rescheduling & Access

• Rescheduling: Scholten Productions (SP) will make best efforts to accommodate rescheduled weddings. However, accommodation is not guaranteed if the new date conflicts with an existing booking.

• Access: It is the Client's responsibility to ensure SP has access to all necessary areas for videography. The Client is responsible for securing any required permissions, permits, or clearances. SP is not liable for coverage lost due to access restrictions or lack of communication about locations or timelines. If event timings change, the Client should provide updated schedules to SP.

Creative Control and Revisions

• Creative Control: All creative aspects, including shooting and editing style, are at the sole discretion of SP. The Client acknowledges they have reviewed SP's portfolio and are booking with full understanding of the artistic style. The final product shall not be subject to rejection based on taste, preference, or aesthetic criteria.

• The Client understands that SP has full editorial and production control. Any decision to exclude, partially capture, or edit out portions of the event is at SP's sole discretion.

• Revisions: Any changes or revisions requested by the client will gladly be taken care of upon delivery.

• The Client is entitled to two (2) rounds of revisions to the final video. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Limitations & Liability

• SP will not be held responsible for production issues outside of its control, including but not limited to weather, accidents, interference from guests or vendors, or inadequate venue lighting.

• The Client is liable for deliberate or accidental damage to SP's equipment caused by guests or individuals authorized to be at the event. Repair or replacement costs will be sent to the Client.

Cancellations & Termination

• SP reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for reasonable cause (e.g., illness, accident, ). In such cases, all monies paid will be refunded in full. SP will provide notice as promptly as possible.

• In the unlikely event that video files are damaged, lost, or stolen while in SP's possession, SP will refund the package price in full.

• Upon delivery of the final product, the Client must notify SP of any technical or quality issues within seven (7) days. After this period, the product is deemed accepted.

• As stated prior, the Client is entitled to two (2) rounds of revisions to the final video. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Pricing, Deposit, & Package Details

• Selected Package: The Client has chosen the "Ultimate" package.

• Package Price: CAD $3150.00

• The Client has added on Raw Footage: $250.00

• Total Amount Due: CAD $3412.50

Payment Schedule

• Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total package price is due upon signing this contract.

• Final Balance: The remaining 75% is due no later than seven (7) days before the wedding date.

Music Copyright Notice

• The Client acknowledges that this agreement is subject to The Copyright Act, which may restrict its use of copyright/protected material.

• The Client understands that if they do not select a song from Scholten Production's subscription music site, the music choice will be subject to the editor.

• The Client understands that music selection is crucial to the editing process as cuts and shots are synchronized to the music. Asking for an alternate song following delivery is considered a major revision and may be subject to an extended timeline and extra cost.

Cancellation Policy

• Rescheduling: As outlined above, rescheduled weddings will only be accommodated if the new date does not conflict with an existing booking. If Scholten Productions (SP) is unable to accommodate the new date, the event will be deemed a cancellation.

• Cancellations with Notice (90+ days): If the Client cancels at least ninety (90) days prior to the original wedding date, all payments made, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.

• Cancellations with 31–89 Days' Notice: If the Client cancels between thirty-one (31) and eighty-nine (89) days prior to the original wedding date, the 25% deposit will be forfeited.

• Cancellations within 30 Days: If the Client cancels within thirty (30) days of the wedding date, the 25% deposit will be forfeited and the Client will be responsible for an additional payment of 25% of the total contract amount.
